SparkNano’s CTO Paul Poodt participated in the panel discussion during the launch meeting of the TeamNANO Project, led by SUNUM, January 30th, 2025. The TeamNANO project is the highest budget project awarded to a single institution by the European Commission in the history of our country. TeamNANO is carried out with an EU budget of 9 million Euros, co-financed by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Industry and Technology and supported by TÜBİTAK.

TeamNANO is building a strong, collaborative ecosystem for advancing flexible electronics and creating new opportunities in deep-tech. SparkNano’s CTO Paul Poodt was part of the exciting panel discussion together with Feras Alkhalil, Senior R&D Director, Pragmatic Semiconductor, United Kingdom and Andris Ozolins, Project Manager, Latvia, they were discussing scaling up deep tech startups.

The 6-year “Teaming For Capacity Development And Synergies In Micro-Nanofabrication And Flexible Electronics For Widespread Impact TeamNANO” Project focuses on micro/nano-fabrication and flexible electronics. TeamNANO, which aims to modernize the devices and technological capabilities in SUNUM’s clean room infrastructure in cooperation with The University of Southampton and Delft University of Technology, aims to increase the international competitiveness of our country in the field of science and technology and to play a pioneering role in new generation flexible electronic systems and micro-nanofabrication processes.

Together they are shaping the future of flexible electronics and nanotechnology.
